Our method
How we verify what we publish
We link to sources and distinguish published information from details that still need confirmation.
A little help with your next step
Ask a question about hospitals, costs or planning your visit.
Ask us a question Free first replySources first
We prefer, in this order: official government texts, the hospital's own published information, peer-reviewed or industry surveys, and reputable press. Agency websites are used only to show that a claim exists, never as proof.
Price records include their source, observation date and display expiry. Expired prices are omitted. Policy cards older than 90 days are marked for re-check; these controls do not guarantee that an authority or hospital has made no changes.
Labels you will see
- Government cap, Hospital published, Survey, Patient account: the kind of price you are looking at.
- Last checked: the review date recorded for that policy card. Check the linked authority before relying on a rule.
- Not verified: we found the claim but could not confirm it. We say so rather than leave it out silently.
Hospital profiles
A hospital profile is published only after we have confirmed with the hospital that it accepts international patients, which languages its staff use, and how appointments work. Each profile identifies the information available and any details still awaiting confirmation.
Medical review
Pages that describe a treatment are reviewed by a named, licensed doctor before they go live. Until a reviewer has signed off, those pages stay unpublished.
